About Us

Mind of Christ Ministry Church, we follow the same teachings, doctrines and practices established in the New Testament. We believe that "all Scripture is given by inspiration of God." (2 Tim. 3:16). We understand this to mean that the whole Bible is inspired in that holy men of God "were moved by the Holy Spirit" (2 Pet.1:21) to write the very words of Scripture.

We believe that this divine inspiration extends equally and fully to all parts of Scripture as it appeared in the original manuscripts.

We believe that the whole Bible in its original form is without error. We believe that all the Scriptures center around the Lord Jesus Christ in His person and work, in His first and second coming, and hence that no portion, even of the Old Testament, is properly read, or understood, until it leads to Him.

We also believe that all Scripture was designed for our practical instruction. (Luke 24:27, 44; John 5:39; Rom. 15:4; 1 Cor. 10:11; 2 Tim. 3:16)

Brief History

The History of Mind Of Christ formal assembly starts in 2007. A meeting without any emphasis or importance to where the meetings were to be held. Our Calling is to minister to people whether that they come to know the love of Jesus Christ. Looking back in the early Church history there was not many formal places for meeting. (Act 2:46) Our goal is to put emphasis on the thing that was important to Jesus; the teaching and preaching of his word. So, that all man will be saved. Our call is to be mobile; taking the word to the people, which is the last thing for the Church to do in the Great commission.

Our Pastor

My name is Dennis Broadway. I was born July 12,1959 in Monroe, LA to the parents of Stella and Floyd Broadway. Graduating from high school 1978 I received a four-year scholarship to play football at Alcorn University in Mississippi. After completing the first summer semester I had an injury which delayed my football career. After recovery I decided to join the United States army, where I would meet my wife of 39 years, Mrs. Vernita Lynn Broadway. We were married July 12, 1983, in Denver, Co. We now have three daughters, six grandkids, and three great grandkids.

I gave my life to Christ at an early age but did not fully come to have a relationship with Christ until my early 40s, after joining a church where I served as biblical disciples. It was then that I rededicated my life to Christ with confession and baptism. After, I was called on to lead a Men’s ministry for some seven years.

Eight years later, in 2007, The Lord called me to start Mind of Christ Ministry in Plano, TX. The Ministry’s vision is the Great Commission- to make disciples of all nations. This call to ministry is not simply my profession but call of service to minister people where they are, so that they would have an opportunity to know the love of Jesus Christ.

I don't believe that The Lord called us to a religion but to a relationship; to empower people to truly know who they are in Christ, so that the Kingdom of God manifest through them in everyday life bringing him glory. For the believer to live a victorious life now in for eternity.
